A revolutionary patch
Hematrix Active-Patch is a class III medical device for topical use only, used in hospitals or in case of
emergency to immediately stop bleeding from wounds in patients with injuries.
It is ready to use and positioning the side marked with a green square (the active side of the dressing)
in contact with the wound so that satisfactory blood clotting can begin.

How to use it
Hematrix Active-Patch starts working as soon as it comes into contact with blood.
For this to happen, the dressing must be pressed onto the wound and held firmly in place for at least 5 minutes, depending on the severity of the bleeding.
This allows the blood to penetrate the spongy matrix.
If satisfactory haemostasis has not been achieved, a new Hematrix® should be pressed onto the wound for a further 5 minutes.
When to use it
The use of Hematrix Active-Patch is recommended on wounds involving large and small blood
vessels.
